Keep in mind I am a big person. I am over 6' and I have possibly large hands (palming a basketball is possible with my hands, though just barely).
I purchased a Samsung Galaxy II (Epic 4G Touch on Sprint), and I purchased this case with my phone to keep it secure due to it seeming to be very durable. I was very much right. I traveled cross country since purchasing this product and have dropped my phone 2 times from getting out of my car (SUV so it's a large drop) once to concrete, and another time to hard packed dirt. Both times not a scratch to the phone, and no visable or noticable dents to the case. My last case after such a drop had a noticeable ding, and the phone took a scuff.
pros:
Hard back comes off if you wish to make it a softer case
Very durable
protects the phone well
gives the phone a excellent grip
easy to hold
doesn't cover any vital components (flash, camera, etc).
cons:
A little large and adds some bulk to the phone (still able to easily put in a shirt or jacket pocket)
No kickstand
Makes it semi-difficult at times to insert the USB charger, or plug in my auxiliary audio cable to my stereo
