The Otterbox Commuter offers great protection for your iPhone 4, and still manages to keep a slim profile.

When this arrived, I took it out of the box and immediately put in on my phone. Surprisingly easy, and it looked/fit great. I loved it. Then I decided I wanted to put a screen protector over the apple logo on the back of my phone, so I took the case off and started over. It took me about 15 minutes of adjusting, pushing, pulling, cursing, fiddling, etc to get the case back on again. I took the whole thing off a couple of times and tried starting over. I was having so much difficulty, I started wondering (as implausible as it seems) if the screen protector on the back was just thick enough to keep the case from fitting correctly. Eventually, I was able to get the case on and remind myself why I had just loved it 15 minutes earlier.

This really is a great case. I was worried that the plastic would be slippery but haven't found that to be true. I love that I can slip it in my pocket and it slides in and out easily. I read that the little lip of plastic at the top of the phone rubs on some reviewers ears. I noticed it at first, but have not been bothered by it. I think you could easily smooth it with a file if it was a problem for you. All of the buttons work great, the ports are protected but easy to access and the camera still takes great pictures. I had a screen protector on my phone so I didn't use the one provided by Otterbox.

If you are someone who changes cases frequently, I don't think I would buy this. If not, get it and know that your phone is well protected.
