I have been using this for a few months now.
The compact size and sturdy construction make it a go everywhere accessory.
It easily attaches to any tripod, here are a couple photos showing it securely
holding an iPhone in a Otterbox case.
The Anycase is beautifully made and will go many places, as it takes up very little space.

2nd Customer Review : I want the best, and this one can be even better
I've done quite a bit of research and found the ANYCASE adapter to be the best out of what i see available here. Just got it in the mail today. Here are the good points:
- grips the phone well
- made of light and sturdy aluminum
- simple design yet effective
- the phone can be in horizontal or vertical view by adjusting the tripod
- fits variety of phone sizes even with the phone case on or not
- made in USA
However, for such a simple product costing $30, i think the design can be improved to make it the best out there:
- the two small panels holding the phone in the front are a bit to close to each other blocking some part of the bigger screen on iPhone 5. Solution: make the base length to be adjustable to better fit different phone sizes.
- the screw in the back used to hold the phone tight seems to be made out of plastic - weak link of design durability. The plastic thread may ware out over time. Why not aluminum...
3rd Customer Review : Very nice tripod adapter
I bought this when it was a kickstarter project and I have been very happy with it. I originally bought the Glif, which is an iPhone 4 tripod adapter. The problem with that is that it only works on a naked iPhone without a case. Like many people, I keep my iPhone in a case most of the time and so that adapter was rarely used.
The Anycase adapter works great. I Doesn't really matter what case you are using or whether you are even using a case. Simply unscrew the knob and place the iPhone in (or most other smartphones, I would imagine) and then tighten the knob. The adapter can then be attached to any standard tripod. I use this for taking time lapse movies with my iPhone and it is a lot of fun. The screw and the two pads are rubberized, so tightening the knob does not damage the iPhone.
