1st Customer Review : Classic OtterBox Quality
Why put a svelte iPhone in an armored case? Because "it's a real world out there" - and a beautiful, glass-ensconced iPhone has a limited unprotected lifetime (maybe days? for some folks, hours?).
This case will make your iPhone safe for years - but bigger/thicker (oh well...). The belt clip/holster is especially rugged and we've never broken one fro OtterBox (but many from other manufacturers) so clips/holsters are an important issue. Note that this one doesn't "holster" as easily as the 4/4S models for us. Our iPhones have survived numerous drops over the years - the soft enclosure and two-piece enclosed case with dust/moisture tabs, has a protective display membrane/screen, and overall absorbs unintended impacts nicely - protecting all aspects of the phone. Using an Apple OEM lightning-to-30pin adapter is a bit tight but works. OtterBox cases are custom to the model. This one fits the iPhone 5 nicely. Purchases for prior phones iPhone 4 and 4S also...

2nd Customer Review : Best color combo I could find.
Well, I have used otter box products for a while and like the protection they offer. I was a little disappointed with the color selection of defender cases for the iphone5. Found this one and have been happy with. Works and feels like an otterbox should. If you want sleek look elsewhere, but I like to protect my phone.
