I bought this case for my IPone 4 and it fell out of the bag on my motorcycle going 30 mph and was run over by the car behind me and the phone didn't have a scratch on it. The case holder had a crack on the bottom and the protective screen partially separated and the rubber shell had some road rash but the phone was untouched. Awesome case! I may have just been lucky but the case did its part.

The Built in screen protector makes the screen look like theres water or something in between. No matter how dry i got it with a can of air. Aside from that its great. I have my phone on my lap a lot. the rubber keeps it from sliding off. The iPhone has a way of creeping into couch cushions and down under my car seat. I have a habit of getting out of my car with my phone on my lap and it falling on the ground, this case just bounces from that height. Im happy with it.
3rd Customer Review : Better than the Otterbox, and Cheaper too!
I've been using an Otterbox Defender on my iPhone 4 for the last year, until I dropped it and shattered the screen. Surprised by the result, I decided to try this Ballistic case and I have to admit I LOVE IT.
The extra rubber really adds an extra degree of safety to the phone. The defender has no raised front on the rubber, so a flat-down drop puts all the pressure on the hard plastic resulting in my accident. This one has ridged rubber all around, so no matter how you drop it it will land on the soft areas. Also, the port covers for the mute, headphones, and sync cables are much easier to actually close on this case than the Otterbox.
I highly recommend this as the pinnacle of "hardcore" iPhone cases.
