1st Customer Review : Solid case.
This case is pretty tough. I just bought my second one because I am absolutely brutal on my phone. I drop it all the time, shove it in a pocket, fiddle with it, fiddle with the case, sit on it, let my kid play with it and throw it on floor. I loved seeing their video where they were throwing the phone in the case against a brick wall. The belt clip is good and actually keeps the phone in place (I HATE BELT CLIPS but this is a good one).

When I decided to upgrade to a smartphone I knew I needed a heavy duty protective case - since I am hands-on involved in remodeling projects, construction and landscaping - and I also wanted a belt clip / holster.
I studied the gamut of top rated protective iPhone cases on a few websites and trolled through hundreds of reviews and comments.
I decided on the HC Ballistic Case because it is both very protective and it includes the hard case belt clip / holster.
Installation was easy, though I had some trouble separating the case to put the phone in. It seemed the top of shell didn't want to open up and I didn't want to risk breaking it, but with a little extra wiggling and force it opened up. In went the phone, snap, wrap, clip, done.
It does naturally add some weight and bulk to the phone, as is to be expected (and which some people hate), but personally I much prefer the bulk and the protection. The naked iphone is just way too thin and...
