1st Customer Review : Better than Otter Box Defender
I purchased the Otter Box Defender when I first got my I-phone 4. It has worked and has saved me from destroying my phone repeatedly. It is a good product.
However I do have some issues with it. The bottom piece that covers the big connector on the bottom was always coming out. Also the outside rubber was a bit to lose and would peal off the sides, so I was always putting it back.
The Ballistic HC seems to have the same level of protection, without these issues.
I have had the product for a week now and am very happy. I love it.

2nd Customer Review : Good Case
I recently bought a new iPhone 4 and had to find the best way to protect it. I've tried 3 different cases offering this level of protection. The first was the Griffin Survivor witch I bought at Verizon for $50 when I bought my phone (I'll post a review on it as soon as I see it available on Amazon at this time I've only been able to find it for iPod Touch on here). The second was this case and the third was the Otterbox Defender. I definitely feel that this case offers superior protection and as a person who's broken his fair share of belt-clips (including 2 NiteIze holsters) this one seems to be the best built out of the 3 options. I'm also a big fan of options/ customizability (new word) and thus like the fact that you can use the case with or without the outer silicone shell and while this eliminated all of the port covers I don't think that it significantly lowers the level of drop protection.

3rd Customer Review : BALLISTIC VERSUS OTTERBOX
my wife and I just got the new 4s. I bought this ballistic case and I bought an otter defender for my wife. Both cases provide excellent protection. Ot just about doubles the size of the phone which we expected but we both live and play hard. If I knew what I know now after analyzing both of them I would have bought two Otterbox Defenders. This ballistic case is nice and seeme durable but its more bulky than the otter which I believe offers the same amount of protection. The clip on this ballistic is nice and I like it better than the otter because I clip mine mine to a personal organizer which is attached to my visor in my work car. The clip itself is not large enought to clip to the visor of an SUV. The otter clip is kind of weird and not really practical. with the 4 levels of protection on the Ballistic I find it hard to hit the edges of my screen. The otter I have no problem with.
