I bought it for skiing, and it feels very protective -- though I haven't dropped or fallen on it. I can't speak about the holster feature, though. I'd already installed a Glas-tr screen protector, so I couldn't use the plastic screen-protector that comes with the Ballistic case. When closed, the Ballistic doesn't seem secure enough to clip it to a belt -- WITH the included screen protector, though, the case snaps shut more securely. So if you want to use the holster feature, use Ballistic's screen-protector.

Love the case. Protects my phone from falls, spills etc. The swivel clip is great as well. I highly recommend this case for anyone.
