1st Customer Review : Beautiful, sleek, and SURPRISINGLY PROTECTIVE case for clumsy people!
First, to address issues other people have brought up for this AMAZING case:
- It seems to me that a LOT of the negative reviews of this case were written shortly after the buyers got their hands on it for the first time -- and to be honest, I was also extremely doubtful about how well it could protect the phone. It DOES seem like just a sheet of plastic, after all. However, I've had it for six months now, and I'm pretty sure the case is made out of some type of space-age material developed in a secret underground lab specifically to provide protection for some intense dropping impacts. This case is basically just like Iron Man... but if he looked like Audrey Hepburn.
- As far as it being slippery, it has a high-gloss finish, but I definitely don't find it harder to hold on to than a naked iPhone. Maybe my hands are just unusually sticky (ew?), but I haven't had problems with the finish at all. I suppose if you live on a boat, a phone with a gloss finish like...

2nd Customer Review : Great case. Very Slippery.
I've only had the case for a week, but I love it. It is slim, so doesn't increase the size of my iPhone at all. Really cute color. The only thing is it is extremely smooth, which I assumed it would be, hence why I didn't take off in rating. If you have it on a smooth surface it will slide like crazy. Great case, so far.
Also, I was told by someone while I was out that they dropped their phone with this case and it broke after a couple times. To this, this case is not meant to protect it from crazy falls or anything, which I am aware. It's meant to look cute, but also protect it from everyday scratches from your purse or pocket. If I wanted to be able to run it over by a car and it still be fine I would have bought the case that doubles the size of the iPhone.
3rd Customer Review : Yes, this fits the new iPhone 4S as well as the 4
Some weenie made a big stink about how the new 4S has the side buttons slightly moved...about 1 millimeter or so. I am happy to report that this case has a large enough opening for the buttons to stay within these tolerances.
The case itself is fine as well. It does not ship with any front screen protectors, though, as some of the ads for it seemed to indicate.
Update: I just noticed that compared to other CaseCrown protectors for iPhones that I've used, this feels a bit cheaper. The shiny plastic is slippery, but worst of all, there is a mold seam around the perimeter of the case, right where you hold it. It's not uncomfortable, but it just makes it feel cheap.
When you buy an iPhone, part of what you're paying a premium for is the superior tactile experience that comes from better quality. This takes away from that, IMHO. It's sort of like putting a plastic shifter knob on a Porsche gear shifter.
