These are MY opinions.
First impressions after opening the box:
5 piece item - belt clip, rubber outer cover, and 2 (top and bottom) hard plastic shell.
Rubber outer cover - feels 'rubbery' and durable.
Adds bulk to iPhone 4. It's actually a plus because it makes you grip the phone during use!
Comes with clear screen attached to the hard plastic shell covering the iPhone 4 and does not affect the touch sensitivity of the phone's screen. (I did not remove my privacy screen on my phone and the screen is not affected at all.)
Once phone is enclosed:
Ear/head phone jack is easy to access. However, you need to use a slim plug as the plastic case obstruct the jack a little bit.
The volume + and - buttons works just fine!
The silent switch is easily accessed and can be easily switched on and off. Just improvise of you have big fingers.

2nd Customer Review : Great case- Terrible belt clip
I bought this case because I wanted something that protects against dust better than the otter-thing, and I have been very pleased with the case itself. I am a firefighter and I do home renovation part-time. The case has done great! The belt clip broke after a month while sitting in a chair. Just like others say, it is very cheap quality and it is obvious when you pull it out of the box. My hope for writing this review is that Griffin will read these comments and make improvements.
3rd Customer Review : great tough case for you iphone 4
looked at all the tough cases available on amazon and it came down to the Griifin. I work construction and all protection was my goal for my new iphone 4. every port is covered well, probably not waterproof 100%, but good enough for me. dust is not a problem. flap for the camera is no issue to me, not hard at all to move and snap. my only gripe is about the belt clip when the phone is facing screen in, the clip pushes the main phone button and wants to activate voice control all the time, kind of annoying, just turned it screen out, fine that way. dropped it a few times on rocks and dirt, no problem, very protected! just need to order a skinny body audio cable for it, the plastic shell wont work with fatter mini audio cables, oh well, just use the usb connection for audio to car stereo. overall, awesome case and great price here on amazon!
