1st Customer Review : Great Case in My Favorite Color
An Otterbox Defender Case (and Clip) is pretty ubiquitous to the iPhone market, but the fact that I found this in Army green *and* it was much cheaper than buying one in a store made it an exceptional deal. For anyone who has NOT held both the 3G and 4 Model of the Defender cases, the 4 is a 200% improvement that eliminated the oil slick on the screen and they now have larger cutouts to accomodate as many models as possible. As I said, I like Army Green, and not hunting male fashion accessory green.
PRO #1 Fits like the proverbial glove, out of the box the plastic is a bit stiff, but anyone who's had more than one Defender cases in their hands can feel a subtle difference in the texture, feel, and "grip-ability" of the material. Black and Red models tend to attract more hair, dust, and pocket lint than lighter colored models like the white or pink. Great! I'm looking for an OBD that looks military olive drab. This is PERFECT! THANK YOU! The hunter green ones are NOT attractive - that I've seen. This is something I will enjoy for a very long time AND recommend to others, in the Battalion Booster Club.
3rd Customer Review : Works just fine for a while.
It's a good case. It will protect your phone from almost everything except submerging it in water. The only issue for me was that all the rubber tore. Every tab on the case ripped off, and the silicone no longer fit to the plastic. You can call Otterbox and they should replace it, however it started tearing within the first 2 weeks of having this case. After a few months of having this I have decided to switch to a Ballistic case. If you get the Otterbox, it'll work just fine, but you'll most likely have to keep replacing the silicone outer portion.
