1st Customer Review : Otterbox Defender is truly a defender..
So, long story short, my Otterbox Defender clad iphone ended up getting run over by a car.....on the freeway (please dont ask for details as reliving the incident might send me into a panic attack...) Luckily i was able to retrieve it with out risking my life (that much..) and to my surprise, it still worked. The screen, of course, was shattered, but not so much that it couldn't be used. And use it I did until I upgraded to a new iphone. Because the phone was still in excellent working condition (amazing) a lovely chap at the Apple store told me I could sell it on ebay or craigslist for up to $300 bucks (the cost of repairing an iphone screen still beats the cost of buying one contract free hands down...) Needless to say I am purchasing another defender case and will proudly flaunt its bulkiness to the entire world.

I adore this case. I had a Ballistic Brand case before and while it worked really well it was very large and had serious air bubbles, plus it was kinda ugly. I got this case as a cute alternative as I liked the colors and the fact it would actually protect my phone if it fell. I won't say I'm a phone dropper, but I'm a dropper. So when I got the iPhone I knew I would need a case to protect it if any mishaps happened, this case has done just that!
My phone has fallen off of clothing racks, out of my car, off tables onto hard surfaces, and my phone and this case have been just fine! I was pleasantly surprised.
