This case is a 2 piece snap together, semi-protective case. It fits really tight once you snap it together, the bumper around the screen helps should your phone be dropped. My only complaint is you cannot charge it on an i-dock, unless you remove the case. Again, the case in NOT easy to open, (TIP....use a "NICKEl" not a dime, not a pennny....a NICKEL to open it) the snaps are plastic on the inside, I would have to guess, if opened and closed on a daily basis, the snaps will wear quickly. Charge it with your normal I-phone charger....... and you just purchased yourself a GREAT case!
