I wanted a case that added almost no bulk, made the phone a little less slippery, and protected it from scratches and short falls. I ordered the black one. I love the fit, it was a little difficult to get on (but that's good) because it's quite snug. The volume and lock buttons are all usable with the case on, although the lock button needs a little firmer of a press. The opening for the camera and the flash is perfect, just enough for both to work unaffected, but not too much to risk damage.
I ordered this with low expectations to be honest. The only thing I would change is the texture. The matte back is still a little more slippery than I wanted. I wanted to try a new type of case instead of my usual Speck. I'm not sure if I will buy a Speck case yet or not. I bought the black case for my white iPhone 5. It's not top of the line by any means, but it completely meets my needs. Even better for the price I paid at ~$4 shipped.
Ports easily accessible. Buttons are responsive. Bumper is the shiny TPU which can be prone to fingerprints but does provide a secure grip in your hand. The back is the nicer matte TPU that gives it the clean, professional appearance and balances out the grippy-ness of the bumper. It adds a little welcome bulk to the size of the phone to allow for a more natural fit in your hand. The lip comes out enough to secure the screen from touching any flat surfaces when face down.
There are some minor flaws in the design that I see are typical in TPU accessories. The left side "lip" is VERY slightly curved outward below the volume buttons, so I see a little bit more white along the screen on the left than I do on the right. Another flaw is a very small, rectangular blemish on the bumper (also on the left...
